Realestate Fairfax

Choosing the Right Agent for Realestate Fairfax

Are you looking for a nice little piece of realestate Fairfax for you and your family? Sure, you can look in the classified ads for any houses that are up for sale, but that is not really the best option. If you want to get the best deal on the best house in Fairfax County then you need to get help from a seasoned real estate agent. Yes, you will be spending a bit more on your hunt for a house, but at least you will not have to do all of the footwork, and if you find a good agent, you will also get a great deal you will not otherwise find on your own.

Now, how will you know if the real estate agent in front of you now is any good? Well, here are a couple of things that you need to look for.

Make sure that the person is a full-time realtor

You would want the person who is helping you find a home for you and your family to concentrate his or her energy into the task. What you do not want is someone who sells real estate as a second job. Yes, there are some part-timers who are quite decent at their job, but they are few and far in between. If you do not want to waste your energy, just ask straight away if the person in front of you is a full-time realtor. If not then say thank you and move on to the next candidate.

Make sure that the person has all of the necessary licenses and permits

Nothing is worse than paying the realtor for the house, in cash, only to find out that he does not even have a license. You can only sell a house legally if it is your own, if not then you will find yourself in deep trouble. Spare yourself from all the headaches that will stem from this oversight, when you are talking to a prospective realtor, immediately ask if he has all of the necessary permits and licenses to sell houses.

If possible, ask for the person’s recent track records

This kind of information may be hard to come by, but if you can manage to get your hands on it then it will be a great help. Find out how many houses the agent has sold recently, and if he has ever sold realestate Fairfax. If you find that he has been trying to sell three or more houses for the past couple of months, and the last sale he made was more than six months ago, then it is safe to assume that he is no good.

Finding a good realtor can be quite a challenge on its own, especially if you don’t even live anywhere near Fairfax County. In this case, you should seek help from the guys and gals from Steve Lefave real estate.
